The Almaco Family
Almaco Tours began in 2005 as a dream and an adventure for Miguel Sanchez and Bari Lehrman as they decided to settle in Costa Rica to build their future and their family. This Barcelona and New York-born couple spent a few years separately traveling the world before finally finding each other and unpacking their bags in Playas del Coco in 2003.
With much dedication and a commitment to excellence, what began as a simple backyard company consisting of a small skiff and a few sets of dive equipment has grown to become what Almaco is today. It remains a family-run business and is fortunate to have such a great team of local guides and captains to count on.
