In Search of the Spinner Dolphins Superpod
Costa Rica is home to one of the few known “super pods” of Spinner Dolphins, numbering in the thousands and living in a large band of water off the mid-southern Costa Rican Pacific coast. From January through April, these playful dolphins will entertain you for hours with their jumps, spins, breaches, and tricks and are always accompanied by large schools of yellowfin tuna.
